ECAD Design Engineer

Overview

ECAD Design Engineer responsible for delivering and maintaining CAD library models for the R&D community and supporting process improvements, data quality, and customer requirements.

What you'll do

• Deliver CAD library information to internal customers.
• Create and maintain data operation plans for department KPIs.
• Conduct case studies to automate design processes and reduce manual work.
• Identify and manage process risks and improvement opportunities.
• Plan and implement projects to meet process milestones and delivery timelines.
• Report process performance measures and maintain project status awareness.
• Provide technical input, resolve customer requests, and train employees.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent.
• 10–12 years of post-qualification experience.
• Knowledge of electronic circuits and components.
• Knowledge of EDA CAD tools, preferably Mentor Graphics.
• Digital, analog, or mixed-technology design layout knowledge.
• Understanding of SMT and through-hole component layouts on multilayer boards.
• Knowledge of component symbol, footprint creation, and mapping.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IEEE symbols and IPC standards.
• Knowledge of PLM and PDM systems.
• Knowledge of electronics simulation tools.

• Location: Manesar, India.
• Full-time weekly schedule.
• Travel required: 10% of the time.
• Day shift.
