EHS Engineer

Overview

As an EHS Engineer, you will maintain environmental health and safety standards at Micron’s Sanand, Gujarat site.

What you'll do

• Conduct workplace hazard identification and risk assessments.
• Manage Permit-to-Work systems for Hot Work, Work at Height, Confined Space Entry, and LOTO.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and injuries and drive corrective actions.
• Perform routine safety inspections, audits, and compliance assessments.
• Coordinate mock drills for fire, chemical spills, medical emergencies, and evacuation.
• Support EHS audits and certifications including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 surveillance audits.

What you'll need

• M.Sc. in Environmental Science/Chemistry or B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in chemical manufacturing.
