Safety Engineer (Building)

Overview

Safety Engineer (Building) to ensure safety compliance and risk management for building projects across Pan India within airport infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement safety plans aligned to local and international safety standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols on-site for workers, contractors, and visitors.
• Run regular safety inspections, audits, and drills to evaluate safety measures.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, then recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for safety audits, certifications, and regulatory submissions.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for building projects.

What you'll need

• Minimum 10 years of experience in safety engineering.
• Safety compliance and risk management experience for building projects.
• Knowledge of safety management systems, hazard identification, and risk assessment techniques.
• Proficiency with safety software/tools including HAZOP, HAZID, and incident reporting systems.
• Strong understanding of construction safety standards and best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
