Electrical Design Engineer

Overview

Design and provide engineering solutions and documentation for GIS and PASS high-voltage products according to project and customer requirements.

What you'll do

• Perform technical analyses and investigations for GIS and PASS products.
• Prepare project layouts based on customer requirements.
• Prepare and release GIS component drawings to specifications.
• Communicate with customers and resolve product or project technical queries.
• Maintain revised technical documentation in SAP and communicate updates to vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical guidance, negotiate technical issues, and resolve conflicts with engineers and customers.
• Support component localization and provide training and knowledge sharing.

What you'll need

• B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of HV GIS, HV products, power systems, and substations.
• Knowledge of substation layouts and clearance requirements for HV products.
• Proficiency in Pro-E and AutoCAD with drawing office practice.
• Knowledge of relevant national and international IEC standards.
• Spoken and written English, communication, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in GIS or AIS project engineering.
• Knowledge of SAP MM Module.
