Electrical - New Product Manufacturing Engineer

Overview

Electrical New Product Manufacturing Engineer responsible for developing and releasing new product BOMs and supporting manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies for medium-complex assemblies.

What you'll do

• Develop, implement, and release new product BOMs under management guidance.
• Work with senior NPME to implement new product manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies.
• Provide design review feedback including DFA, DFAe, DFTp, ITO, and operational efficiency improvements.
• Partner on electrical E3S schematics review and virtual cable routing analyses (MLO and DMU).
• Develop and validate Operation Method Sheets (OMS) for medium complex assemblies.
• Execute change control processes (NSRs, ECOs, CCB, SPSs, ESWs) with Sr NPMEs.
• Lead the Managed Build process for assemblies/modules.

What you'll need

• Working knowledge of Electrical NPME role.
• Ability to work in noisy environments and distinguish between colors.
• Ability to perform tasks including standing for extended periods, walking, working in tight spaces, and lifting.
• Use of hand and power tools.
• If working in a clean room, use appropriate PPE such as coveralls, safety glasses, gloves, and respirators.
