Emerging Investor, Financial Planner (Nationwide)

Overview

Provides financial planning, advice, and ongoing relationship management to prospects and clients through primarily phone and virtual interactions. Helps clients understand financial planning strategies, make investment decisions, and pursue their financial goals.

What you'll do

• Evaluate client life stages and identify financial goals.
• Present suitable financial planning solutions, products, services, and investment actions.
• Educate clients on financial planning principles and the company’s value proposition.
• Open client accounts and establish fund transfers or management.
• Review existing client strategies and adjust plans when appropriate.
• Follow up on onboarding tasks and maintain client relationships.
• Coordinate with account support staff for accurate administration.

What you'll need

• 5 years of financial services experience.
• Strong emotional intelligence, empathy, care, and concern.
• Ability to explain complex and personal topics clearly.
• Ability to handle emotional conversations and de-escalate when needed.
• Series 65 or 66 license.
• 4-year college degree.

Nice to have

• CFP or CRPC certification.
• Financial or business background.
• Financial or life planning education certifications.
• Familiarity with Financial Peace University or similar programs.

• Expected base salary: $80,000–$97,500 yearly.
