Overview
Specialist Information Security role focused on building and operating an enterprise Encryption Agility Service for post-quantum cryptography (PQC) readiness.
What you'll do
- Execute encryption agility service workstreams including intake analysis, backlog work, roadmap tracking, and service metrics.
- Run enterprise cryptographic discovery across code, binaries, cloud key services, endpoints, file systems, network traffic, PKI/certificates, KMS/secrets, and vendor attestations.
- Build and improve a Cryptographic Bill of Materials (CBOM) using CycloneDX 1.6+ and enforce data quality and reporting requirements.
- Integrate and normalize data across enterprise cryptographic discovery platforms, including tool integrations.
- Analyze cryptographic scan outputs and configuration settings (e.g., TLS, SSH, OAuth, SAML, JWT) to support remediation planning.
- Implement and document approved remediation patterns and coordinate teams for certificate lifecycle, rotation, testing, and PQC readiness.
- Design AI-enabled orchestration (including AI agents) for human-intensive encryption agility workflows with human-in-the-loop controls.
What you'll need
- Doctorate OR Master’s with 4-6 years OR Bachelor’s with 6-8 years OR Diploma with 10-12 years in relevant information security/cybersecurity/cryptography fields.
- Strong hands-on enterprise cryptography knowledge including PKI, X.509, TLS, cipher suites, KMS/HSMs, secrets, and encryption at rest/in transit.
- Practical experience with cryptographic discovery, CBOM-driven inventory, and source code scanning, including data quality controls and remediation tracking.
- Working knowledge of post-quantum cryptography and crypto agility, including hybrid transition patterns and SNDL risk reduction.
- Ability to translate policies/architecture/scan findings into actionable engineering guidance across CI/CD and SSDLC.
- Mandatory experience designing and implementing AI-enabled process orchestration using AI agents or multi-agent patterns with human review for high-risk activities.
- Mandatory ability to architect AI agents for defined service actions, including workflow decomposition, tool/data integration, validation, exception handling, auditability, and escalation for human review.
