Overview

Qualcomm Software Engineer (Engineer) focused on designing, developing, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software and related programs.

What you'll do

• Assist with the design, development, modification, and validation of embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and utilities.
• Analyze user needs and software requirements.
• Design and implement small software features for products and systems.
• Support coding for small features, unit testing, minor debugging, and integration to meet schedules.
• Participate in code reviews, regression tests, and triaging issues to ensure code quality.
• Write technical documentation for software projects.

What you'll need

• Work under supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1+ year experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• 1+ year work experience with database management software.
• 1+ year work experience with APIs.
• 1+ year work experience with Git, Perforce, or a source code management system.
