Senior/Staff/Principal Engineer, Product Engineering

Overview

Senior/Staff/Principal Engineer in Micron SDV (Silicon Design Validation) for NAND Silicon Design Validation product work, covering validation, characterization, and qualification of NAND Flash memory products.

What you'll do

• Lead NAND validation projects from start to finish, including post-silicon coverage planning, timelines, and validation flow execution.
• Develop test algorithms and create test programs for validating and characterizing NAND features, commands, timings, and currents.
• Characterize, debug, and validate NAND against data sheet specifications and in customer designs and systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with NAND R&D, design, manufacturing, business units, quality assurance, and tester vendors.
• Use high-speed tester hardware to perform functional and design validation of new NAND devices.
• Analyze large NAND data sets to prove design margin and functionality and drive issues to closure.

What you'll need

• For Senior Engineer: 3-5 years in NAND or related post-silicon validation and test program development.
• For Staff Engineer: 6 years and above experience in NAND-related product and/or test program development.
• For Principal Engineer: 10 years and above experience in NAND validation.
• Strong organization, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, characterization techniques, and equipment.
• Software development proficiency (e.g., C-based programming) and scripting (e.g., Perl, Python).
• Simulation software know-how (e.g., Verilog, Synopsys VCS) is a plus.
