Lead RDA Engineer

Overview

Lead RDA Engineer responsible for leading a team using next-generation defect detection equipment and processes to identify and solve issues in Technology Development.

What you'll do

• Lead a team to support experimentation, data analysis, and baseline health metrics.
• Mentor team members to analyze experimental process flows for defect anomalies and quarantine out-of-control process tools.
• Drive continuous improvement by improving operations and systematic/random defect improvements.
• Develop inspection technology roadmaps to enable future advanced memory needs for internal and external partners.
• Manage projects within the team and across functional areas, including raising awareness of process anomalies and root-cause analysis.
• Build and communicate program health metrics to set priorities.
• Collaborate with a global network to develop best-known methods and maintain alignment between sites.

What you'll need

• PhD or master’s in Applied Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Microelectronics, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• 6–8 years of RDA experience in the semiconductor industry in process development for Equipment/Applications.
• 6–8 years of experience in RDA defect, semiconductor optical and electron beam inspection methods, and e-beam technologies.
• Experience with tools including Klarity and JMP, plus deep understanding of defect mechanisms leading to failures.
• Proven ability to investigate process anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and derive correlations from data.
• Strong technical, communication, and analytical skills.
• Comfort using AI tools.
