Engineer - Aero Test Lab

Overview

Engineer – Aerospace Test Lab responsible for setting up and completing accurate product and/or system testing per defined aerospace test procedures.

What you'll do

• Perform installation of mechanical test setups with sound hydraulics knowledge.
• Set up and complete hydraulic test stand processes within acceptable time.
• Conduct tests on hydraulic products such as pumps, valves, hose assemblies, couplings, and environmental chambers.
• Apply LabVIEW knowledge and select components/sensors for fatigue testing and customized solutions.
• Troubleshoot and update the test stand for new test requirements or standards.
• Design test circuits with minimal support and standardize test procedures to ISO17025 and AS9100.

What you'll need

• 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience.
• Graduate in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Automotive engineering.
• Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and equipment development lifecycle.
• Sound experience to lead design/development of new hydraulics/electromechanical equipment.
• Experience in assembly and tear down of hydraulic systems.
• Experience with test circuit design and tools like 8D (FRACAS) for the test lab.
