Engineer Automation Quality

Overview

The Engineer Automation Quality designs, develops, and maintains automated test scripts to validate software application functionality.

What you'll do

• Design and develop moderately complex automated test scripts.
• Execute moderately complex automated test cases and report results.
• Independently identify, document, and track defects to resolution using defect tracking tools like JIRA.
• Provide clear documentation for test cases, test results, and defects.
• Maintain and update existing automated test scripts as applications change.
• Follow and recommend automation best practices, including guidance to automation quality engineers.

What you'll need

• 2-4 years overall testing experience with 1-2 years automation testing experience.
• Proficiency in Java (core concepts).
• Strong understanding and experience with requirement analysis.
• Experience with automation testing tools including Selenium, Karate, JUnit, and TestNG, plus debugging skills.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Familiarity with SQL and database testing and with UI/API functional testing.
