Software Development Engineer- Automation

Overview

Intermediate Software Development Engineer - Automation role focused on building and testing software for digital applications and delivery outcomes.

What you'll do

• Turn application design and tech stack work into code across multiple development platforms.
• Develop and maintain secure, stable, testable, maintainable code across development, design, construction, and testing.
• Perform application systems analysis and programming, including feasibility studies and implementation support.
• Engage in digital application development, risk technology, middleware/mainframe and non-mainframe support, and analytic model development.
• Drive system build and performance discussions and represent the team’s systems in solution discussions.
• Build integrated project development schedules accounting for dependencies, SDLC approaches, constraints, and contingency.
• Automate code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in CI/CD pipelines.

What you'll need

• 4–8 years of experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java with hands-on test automation development experience.
• UI automation experience with Selenium.
• API testing experience across distributed applications.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, including integrating automated tests into build pipelines.
• Experience with test frameworks, code quality practices, and debugging production issues.
• Hands-on debugging of Java-based backend services and Angular-based front-end applications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development, QA, and DevOps teams.
