Engineer - Datacenter Operations

Overview

Engineer – Datacenter Operations to support the Navi Mumbai datacenter and test lab infrastructure, focusing on OS-level troubleshooting and mobile device fleet operations.

What you'll do

• Deploy, configure, monitor, and maintain Linux and macOS endpoints and server/test rig environments via CLI.
• Manage and troubleshoot onsite mobile hardware fleets for Android and iOS, including onboarding and OS flashing/updates.
• Diagnose OS-level issues on mobile devices and workstations, including connectivity, permissions, software installs, and performance.
• Manage physical rack infrastructure such as cabling, Wi-Fi access points, and power distribution units; monitor temperature, power draw, and links.
• Track and resolve Level 2 tickets end-to-end in Jira under operational SLAs.
• Create and update SOPs and infrastructure workflows in Confluence, and escalate platform-level issues to global teams.

What you'll need

• 2–4 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or datacenter/lab support roles.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL/Debian) and macOS, using CLI to troubleshoot and execute tasks.
• Demonstrable experience managing and troubleshooting Android and iOS devices/tablets at scale.
• Understanding of IP networking including TCP/IP, VLANs, Wi-Fi AP troubleshooting, switching, and physical connectivity.
• Direct operational experience using Jira and Confluence for ticket tracking and documentation.
• Ability to write concise Jira updates and communicate technical issues in business-level English.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills for OS and infrastructure issues.

• Location: Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (100% onsite).
• Work-from-office presence: five days a week (Mumbai – WFO).
• Employment type: full-time.
