IT Operations Engineer

Overview

IT Operations Engineer role supporting enterprise systems by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues affecting access to critical services.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and correct issues interfering with access to enterprise systems.
• Implement, maintain, and support desktops, user devices, servers, and networks (where applicable).
• Support physical and virtual desktop trading environment and core infrastructure components (email and DNS).
• Oversee deployment and updates of enterprise technologies and desktop applications.
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software, including servers, desktops, and printers.
• Troubleshoot, escalate, and document computer network issues and manage resolutions via JIRA tickets.
• Assist in desk and physical equipment moves with in-house Facilities Management.

What you'll need

• 3 to 5 years of work experience in a similar role.
• B. Sc in IT or a similar degree.
• Knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Self-starter with sense of urgency and strong prioritization skills.
• Excellent trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills for creative, proactive problem solving.
• Ability to learn new skills and evolve as new technologies are introduced.
