IT Operations Engineer – Realtime

Overview

Support and continuously improve Shell’s AVEVA PI System platform across the Asia-Pacific region. The role combines platform operations, incident management, troubleshooting, automation, and technical governance.

What you'll do

• Operate secure, reliable, and cost-effective AVEVA PI System services.
• Monitor platform health, performance, and availability.
• Investigate and resolve production technical issues.
• Support upgrades, maintenance, and operational readiness activities.
• Coordinate incident resolution across technical teams, vendors, and service providers.
• Improve monitoring, tooling, processes, and operational efficiency.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of hands-on AVEVA PI System production support and administration experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of AVEVA PI System architecture, infrastructure, and reliability principles.
• Experience supporting business-critical applications, platforms, or real-time services.
• Experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, risk remediation, monitoring tools, and ITIL methodologies.
