Engineer - Digital & Drw Mgmt

Overview

The Engineer – Digital & Drawing Management will support the Drawings and Digital Delivery domain by creating and managing 1D/2D/3D technical databases and supporting related drafter/designer and administration activities.

What you'll do

• Develop, update, review, and manage engineering drawings including P&IDs, isometrics, GA, and equipment layouts.
• Interpret and implement redline mark-ups (RLMU) into final deliverables.
• Perform quality checks on drawings for completeness, consistency, and standards compliance.
• Develop and maintain 3D models using AVEVA E3D/SP3D and support model reviews and clash detection.
• Create and update intelligent P&IDs in Hexagon SPPID, including attribute tagging and metadata integration.
• Provide technical guidance and quality oversight to designers/drafters and collaborate to resolve design issues.

What you'll need

• Engineering degree in Mechanical/Piping Engineering with 8–10 years of experience in the oil & gas/petrochemical industry.
• Extensive experience in SmartPlant 3D (SP3D/S3D) administration, configuration, and support.
• Strong experience in mechanical/piping design across FEED, detailed engineering, and as-built phases.
• Proficiency in engineering drawing interpretation, document management, and bill of materials.
• Hands-on expertise with AutoCAD/MicroStation, AVEVA E3D/SP3D, and Hexagon SPPID.
• Good understanding of multi-discipline engineering to interface across disciplines.
