Overview

Engineer - Drainage designs, develops, and implements drainage systems and infrastructure solutions focused on water management and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

• Design and develop drainage systems covering stormwater and wastewater management infrastructure.
• Conduct site surveys, hydrological assessments, and feasibility studies to determine drainage solutions.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation using CAD and modeling tools.
• Analyze hydraulic and hydrological data to support system efficiency and environmental compliance.
• Oversee construction, installation, and implementation while ensuring adherence to design and timelines.
• Monitor system performance and identify optimization and maintenance improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate drainage solutions into larger infrastructure projects.

What you'll need

• 3-7 years of professional experience in drainage engineering, civil engineering, or related infrastructure design roles.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD).
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic analysis and hydrological modeling software (HEC-RAS, STAAD Pro).
• Experience with GIS software for site analysis and mapping.
• Solid understanding of stormwater management and wastewater drainage systems.
• Excellent technical documentation and report writing skills.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
