Overview

Engineer - Field Services Site In-charge manages maintenance/AMC contracts at railway sites, ensuring safety, quality, contractual commitments, and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Manage and execute designated site maintenance contracts for timely service delivery.
• Resolve customer issues in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage spares and inventory for field service operations.
• Handle technical warranty activities, including fault diagnosis, component replacement, and NCR closure.
• Support commissioning of product/system on train and locomotive.
• Train and guide site technicians on AMC procedures, documentation, and technical updates.
• Maintain safety, regulatory, and contract documentation for audits and renewals.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in railway field with team handling.
• Strong coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and a flexible attitude to changing environments.
• Ability to travel if required.
• IT literacy with Microsoft Office applications.
• Technical understanding of electrical and pneumatic products/circuits.
