Engineer - FMS System Testing

Overview

Engineer - FMS System Testing supports validation of the Flight Management System (FMS), including system integration and testing activities.

What you'll do

• Assist in preparing and performing FMS system tests on ground test rigs and virtual platforms.
• Create, validate, and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Support analysis of flight data to understand FMS behavior and help with root cause analysis.
• Shadow senior engineers to execute test procedures and assist with certification evidence preparation.
• Review and validate design specification documents including SDD, SID, and ICD.
• Contribute to value-added testing techniques such as automated testing, virtual testing, and Big Data analysis.

What you'll need

• Have a B.Tech. or M.Tech. in Electronics/Avionics (or equivalent).
• Have 1-3 years of experience in Avionics V&V or development.
• Demonstrate foundational knowledge of FMS domains like Flight Planning, Navigation, Guidance, and Performance Prediction.
• Have knowledge of Indicating & Recording systems and Guidance, Navigation, and Control.
• Use tools such as Matlab, Virtual Test Means, and engineering model simulation tools.
• Show strong analytical problem-solving and the ability to manage technical tasks.
