Engineer - Hardware

Overview

Senior Hardware Engineer to design and develop embedded hardware solutions, including embedded electronics and wireless communications, while managing product development quality and reliability.

What you'll do

• Design and develop hardware solutions as part of a larger team.
• Develop hardware architectures and conduct studies to meet functional requirements.
• Design and develop embedded electronics with wireless communications for integration and functionality.
• Evaluate and optimize system performance against key performance indicators.
• Support PCB design for manufacturing and testing efficiency with partners and ECAD engineers.
• Conduct testing and analysis to improve hardware functionality and product reliability.
• Follow product development processes and life cycle management across phases.

What you'll need

• 4-6 years of relevant experience (as stated).
• Expertise in designing embedded systems using microcontroller/microprocessor and related subsystems.
• Hands-on experience with embedded communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, RS232, and USB.
• Experience designing multi-layer PCBs and understanding DFM/DFT per industry standards like IPC.
• Hands-on experience with EDA tools including Altium, LTSpice, or PSpice.
• Knowledge of short-range wireless technologies such as Wi‑Fi, BLE, UWB, Zigbee, or Z-wave.
