Engineer, HIG HBM LAYOUT

Overview

Design and develop analog, mixed-signal, custom digital, and full-chip layouts for Micron’s High Bandwidth Memory team in Hyderabad.

What you'll do

• Develop critical analog, mixed-signal, and custom digital block layouts.
• Support full-chip layout integration.
• Perform LVS, DRC, antenna, and layout quality checks.
• Deliver block-level layouts on schedule and to quality standards.
• Estimate work, schedule activities, and execute across multiple projects.
• Guide peer team members and review sub-block layouts.
• Coordinate with local and global engineering teams.

What you'll need

• 2–5 years of analog or custom layout design experience.
• Experience with advanced CMOS processes, including planar and FinFET nodes.
• Expertise in Cadence VLE/VXL and Mentor Graphics Calibre DRC/LVS.
• Hands-on experience laying out critical blocks such as PLLs, ADCs, DACs, LDOs, and comparators.
• Understanding of analog layout fundamentals and circuit layout effects.
• Strong physical-verification problem-solving skills.
• BE or MTech in Electronic/VLSI Engineering; exceptionally talented Diploma holders may also be considered.

Nice to have

• Multiple tape-out support experience.
