Engineer I - Software Engineer

Overview

Develop software and firmware for force-sensor applications, including sensor-data algorithms and customer solutions across hardware, firmware, mechanical, and software integration.

What you'll do

• Develop software and firmware for force-sensor applications.
• Implement algorithms for sensor-data processing, fitting, interpolation, classification, and filtering.
• Design and fabricate customer evaluation kits and sensor modules.
• Provide multidisciplinary technical support from concept through mass production.
• Conduct sensor-level and system-level testing, characterization, and competitor analysis.
• Create technical documentation and deliver product training.
• Collect customer feedback and coordinate product improvements with marketing and R&D.

What you'll need

• 2–3 years of hands-on software-development experience.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• C/C++ and Python programming skills.
• Experience with Python NumPy for data analysis and algorithm implementation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Android, Linux, and embedded MCU RTOS environments.
• Familiarity with I2C and USB protocols.
• Algorithm-development experience using Python, NumPy, and C.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools such as VSCode with Git Copilot.
• Semiconductor or automotive experience.
