Engineer III - Platform Data Engineer (Remote)

Overview

Engineer III – Platform Data Engineer responsible for architecting, deploying, and operating core data infrastructure and platform services for an analytics ecosystem.

What you'll do

• Deploy, configure, and administer core platform tooling including Airflow and Superset in production.
• Manage data platform components using infrastructure-as-code with Terraform.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform services and data workflow deployments.
• Implement and enforce platform security, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Develop and maintain data models using DBT and catalog assets within OpenMetadata.
• Write Python code for platform automation and data processing.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.

What you'll need

• Must be eligible for CJIS clearance (requires U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of combined infrastructure and data engineering experience.
• Advanced Python programming (5+ years).
• Expert knowledge of Apache Airflow deployment and administration.
• Strong experience deploying and managing Apache Superset or similar BI platforms.

Details

• Work mode: Remote (USA – Remote).
• Employment is for U.S. candidates with a base salary range of $120,000–$180,000 per year.
