Engineer III, Software Test

Overview

Engineer III, Software Test responsible for manual and automated testing, verification, validation, and software quality. The role covers test design, defect analysis, regression coverage, and collaboration throughout Agile development.

What you'll do

• Perform scenario-based manual testing across functional, integration, regression, system, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop test plans, cases, scripts, and scenarios from requirements and business workflows.
• Apply test design techniques including boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, decision tables, and state transitions.
• Analyze results, report defects, troubleshoot issues, and verify fixes with developers.
• Develop and maintain Playwright automation scripts using Python where applicable.
• Perform mobile device testing across applicable devices, operating systems, and configurations.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and process improvement activities.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–9 years of experience in software testing, verification, and validation.
• Strong proficiency in manual testing methodologies and test design techniques.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, system, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and meet project deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Playwright automation using Python.
• Experience with Python and pytest.
• Experience in mobile device testing.
• Exposure to ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 standards.
• ISTQB or similar certification.
