Overview
Senior SDET responsible for testing a component or feature set, working independently and collaborating with teams to drive quality engineering discussions.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript and BrowserStack.
- Test EDS components across multiple browsers, devices, and screen resolutions.
- Run functional, performance, memory, and accessibility testing for stability, efficiency, and compliance.
- Verify design system adherence and UX guidelines for usability and accessibility benchmarks.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand component behavior and align on requirements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot UI rendering issues and document defects for developer fixes.
What you'll need
- Over 6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and automation engineering.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of web components, DOM behavior, and browser rendering.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with accessibility testing using WCAG guidelines.
- Experience validating applications across diverse browsers and screen resolutions.
- Proficiency in Agile environments and using Rally; exposure to CI/CD and test integration.
Nice to have
- Leverage BrowserStack within CI/CD pipelines to run automated tests across multiple browsers and devices.
- Hands-on testing expertise across Angular, React, TypeScript, and Vue.js frameworks.
