Engineer - Mechanical (LV Systems)

Overview

Engineer (Mechanical) for Low Voltage (LV) Systems, focused on developing mechanical concepts, 3D/2D design deliverables, and busbar sizing to support sustaining and NPI projects.

What you'll do

• Support design and development for low voltage systems and enclosures aligned to customer requirements, cost targets, and market expectations.
• Assist in copper busbar sizing and sheet metal concept development, testing, and industrialization.
• Contribute to part and product design with manufacturability and assembly in mind.
• Provide engineering analysis support for panels and enclosures to support robust product development.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to achieve product compliance with IEC 61439 and related standards.
• Perform 3D modeling and 2D drafting using Creo Direct.
• Support testing and analysis aligned to IEC 61439, including contributing to root-cause and corrective actions.

What you'll need

• B.E. Mechanical (qualification stated).
• 4 to 6 years of experience.
• Strong drawing creation experience.
• GD&T practitioner experience.
• PLM process implementation experience.
• Experience with copper busbar and sheet metal design concepts.
• Experience with DFMEA for design validation and Model Manager/SAP for PLM.
