Overview

Engineer - Operations Support focuses on PLC/SCADA engineering for industrial automation systems, including programming, interfacing, networking, and software release processes.

What you'll do

• Design and program PLC, SCADA, and HMI solutions.
• Deploy scalable PLC/SCADA/HMI engineering using specified automation platforms.
• Interface PLCs with field transmitters, sensors, and controllers.
• Interface PLC outputs to devices such as VFDs, starters, valves, and actuators.
• Implement PLC control using I/O network protocols.
• Work with protocol gateway converter modules and database query/backup operations.
• Support requirements, testing, and defect/bug management in the product development and release process.

What you'll need

• Experience in industrial automation (PLC/DCS control systems) software design.
• Ability to program PLC, SCADA, and HMI using Rockwell Automation, AVEVA ArchestrA, and Siemens platforms.
• Strong expertise in at least two of the listed automation platforms.
• Proficiency with PLC I/O network protocols including Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Modbus.
• Proficiency with protocol gateway converter modules (e.g., Prosoft, HMS Networks - Anybus, Moxa).
• Proficiency in SQL database queries and backup/restore processes.
• English language proficiency at Intermediate (B1) level.
