Sr E&IC Engineer

Overview

Sr E&IC Engineer for EC&I Controls & Automation delivery, focused on PLC programming, HMI development, and secure OT automation design. Technical delivery includes development, testing, commissioning support, and safety-critical control logic/programming.

What you'll do

• Develop, test, and maintain PLC programs using Siemens TIA Portal.
• Design and implement HMI applications using WinCC / WinCC Unified.
• Implement control sequences including interlocks, permissives, alarms, trips, and shutdown logic.
• Develop and implement Cause & Effect (C&E) logic in PLC and HMI behavior.
• Support closed-loop testing and simulation (e.g., PLCSIM Advanced).
• Troubleshoot PLC logic, HMI screens, communications, and field I/O.
• Support design/assessment for HPU, CAFS, and INERT fire suppression safety-critical controls.

What you'll need

• 5–10 years experience in EC&I / Controls / Automation engineering.
• Strong PLC programming experience with Siemens TIA Portal mandatory.
• HMI development experience with WinCC / WinCC Unified preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Cause & Effect logic and control narratives.
• Practical experience with industrial automation systems.
• Experience supporting FAT, SAT, and commissioning.
• OT cybersecurity awareness for secure control system networks and segmentation.

Nice to have

• Oil & gas / process automation experience.
• Experience with HPU, CAFS, and INERT fire suppression systems.
• Basic functional safety exposure (SIL / IEC 61508 / IEC 61511).
• PLCSIM Advanced or similar simulation tools.
• AutoCAD / EPLAN (review level).
