Overview
Lead engineering of control hardware and software for general industry automation, synchronous condensers, and high current rectifier systems, including design documentation and validation.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and validate equipment control hardware and software for industry automation systems.
- Create and maintain design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical interfaces to customers and suppliers.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams including sales, project, commissioning, and service.
- Carry out engineering and software development for industry systems and control system validation.
- Manage engineering changes using the engineering change control system.
- Adapt project-specific system controls for general industry automation and high current rectifier applications.
What you'll need
- 5 to 8 years of experience to carry out engineering and software development for industry systems.
- Masters' or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation engineering.
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in engineering and commissioning of automation & control systems.
- Programming knowledge in FBD, Ladder, and/or Structured Text for industrial PLC systems.
- Experience with GE RXi, Beckhoff, and Rockwell automation products (PLCs, I/O, HMI such as TwinCAT and Studio 5000).
- Good knowledge of redundancy in PLC and SCADA systems.
- Expertise in industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Profinet, TCP/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, IEC61850, SNMP).
Details
- Willing to travel within India and overseas for short-term or long-term customer site/regional unit work.
- Work may include extended hours on weekends/holidays during critical times.
