Panel Design Engineer

Overview

Panel Design Engineer to create PLC design documents and deliver electrical/control panel engineering deliverables.

What you'll do

• Develop power and control schematics, industrial control/power panel designs, GA drawings, panel layouts, and loop diagrams.
• Create PLC and HMI control system architecture and select appropriate hardware.
• Prepare panel layout, GA outputs, and BOM as per standards.
• Develop Bill of Material and process through SAP (advantage).
• Ensure on-time submission of required documents to the lead engineer for review.
• Achieve first-pass submittal accuracy with peer/supervisor checking before lead engineer review.
• Maintain clear communication by not making assumptions when instructions are unclear.

What you'll need

• Work experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Work experience with Siemens PLCs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to produce PLC-design documents for system architecture, electrical/control schematics, panel layout diagrams, and BOM.
• Ability to develop control system architecture for PLC and HMI systems and select hardware.

Details

• On-time delivery target: submit project deliverables at 95%.
• Accuracy target: first-pass submittal at 95% with lead engineer checking after peer/supervisor review.
