Application Engineer I

Overview

Application Engineer I providing pre-sales engineering support for Fire Detection System global projects to meet country-specific standards.

What you'll do

• Support pre-sales engineering for Fire Detection System projects per country standards.
• Review project inputs/specifications and capture project scope.
• Review MEP drawings and identify Fire Detection System equipment needs.
• Prepare bill of materials and support estimation, costing, and bid preparation.
• Create costing sheets, technical write-ups, block diagrams, and deviation-related documents.
• Ensure quality assurance, on-time delivery, manage escalations, and maintain project quality.
• Produce weekly/monthly customer reporting on project progress.

What you'll need

• BE/ME in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Communication.
• Strong knowledge of Fire Detection System.
• Expertise in NFPA / BS 5839 / EN / FM.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience using Blue Beam.
• Written and verbal communication proficiency.
• Ability to demonstrate good leadership skills.
