Intern - Community & Documentation

Overview

Intern with the Product Team to create and improve scalable, high-quality product and technical content for FourKites’ internal and external communities.

What you'll do

• Improve existing customer-facing how-to articles and technical documentation for better engagement.
• Write scripts and create or update product demos or how-to videos.
• Draft, revise, and validate product/technical documents during the Agile software development life cycle.
• Educate internal and external users about product updates by partnering with product and go-to-market experts.
• Collaborate on documentation and community-related projects.
• Gather data to understand community needs and support community programs such as super user and ambassador programs.

What you'll need

• Major in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology (IT), or a related field.
• Strong English writing, speaking, and editing skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS PowerPoint or Keynote animation.
• Some experience or familiarity with technical writing or other writing forms.
• Passion for technology and its application to solve business problems.
• Experience or interest in the supply chain industry.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build working relationships across locations.
