Engineer - QA

Overview

Engineer – QA role in Pune, India, focused on defining test strategy, building automated test suites, and ensuring functional, performance, and reliability validation for enterprise software applications.

What you'll do

• Define test strategy and create detailed test plans, specifications, test cases, and test data sets.
• Develop, execute, and maintain extensible automated tests.
• Design and implement scalable automation test suites in a CI/CD environment.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and report them with the defect tracking system.
• Participate in requirement, architecture, and design document reviews with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Communicate test findings and technical concepts to partners, peers, and stakeholders.
• Validate official customer product releases and take responsibility for the end result.

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• 3+ years of experience with Java and/or Python (or other scripting languages).
• 2+ years of experience with web applications.
• 2+ years of experience in automation framework development or maintenance, and test script development.
• Strong expertise in automation testing and quality engineering practices.
