Staff Engineer (Navis Terminal)

Overview

Staff Engineer focused on enterprise software testing and quality assurance for Navis Mixed Cargo Terminal Operating System (TOS) implementations.

What you'll do

• Own the overall test strategy for Navis Mixed Cargo TOS implementation.
• Develop a risk-based testing approach with entry/exit criteria and quality metrics.
• Establish testing plans for functional, integration, operational acceptance, data migration, performance, and cutover validation.
• Design and execute scenario-based test cases for multiple terminal operation types (e.g., RoRo, containers, heavy lift).
• Lead distributed/manual testing coordination across QA teams and offshore resources.
• Drive test automation strategy for regression, API, integration, smoke, and critical business scenarios.

What you'll need

• 5.5+ years of experience in enterprise software testing and QA.
• Hands-on experience with Navis Mixed Cargo Terminal Operating System (TOS) or equivalent TOS platforms.
• Experience leading testing activities for Terminal Operating System (TOS) implementations.
• Experience with functional, system integration, operational acceptance, regression, data validation, performance, and cutover validation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data validation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline understanding for testing and quality engineering.
• Familiarity with test management and defect management tools.
