Overview

Remote Software QA Engineer focused on manual testing for Linux across front-end, back-end, and endpoint functionality.

What you'll do

• Validate product functionality across product components.
• Define testing best practices and act as a domain expert in product testing.
• Build, configure, and maintain test environments and assets for supported configurations.
• Review requirements and designs with Product Management and Development and provide feedback.
• Design and execute end-to-end, risk-based test strategies for frontend and backend systems.
• Write bug reports and define quality metrics and dashboards.

What you'll need

• 8+ years in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
• Experience designing and executing comprehensive test strategies across frontend and backend.
• Ability to build, configure, and maintain stable, production-like test environments.
• Hands-on experience in Scrum/Agile teams, including influencing acceptance criteria and improving testability.
• Skilled in testing SaaS/iPaaS and cloud-based systems across Windows and Linux.
• Strong experience validating REST/SOAP APIs and integrations with databases and CRM/ERP systems.

Nice to have

• Test automation experience using TypeScript or Python.
• Experience leveraging AI tools for test generation, code quality, analysis, or productivity.
