Engineer Quality

Overview

Ensure high product quality through rigorous testing and analysis, while developing and implementing quality control systems, conducting inspections, identifying improvement areas, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and ensure compliance with industry standards.

What you'll do

• Quickly comprehend project goals and requirements, and identify gaps, omissions, testing challenges, and impediments.
• Apply scripting languages and logical implementations.
• Use automation, frameworks, and tools.
• Drive automation initiatives.
• Manage conflicts, increase productivity, hire talent, and grow talent.
• Work closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and understand business requirements.
• Gather and understand requirements.
• Prepare test plan and strategy documents.
• Write test cases and perform requirement gathering.
• Perform Web services testing.
• Apply formal software test design techniques.
• Follow QA processes and standards.
• Perform Functional Testing, End-to-End, Regression, and Smoke Testing tasks.
• Develop and maintain test cases and report test results.
• Create testing defect reports and track them to resolution in a defect management tool.
• Establish collaborative relationships with other teams to ensure success of project test phases.
• Anticipate problems or issues, forecast high-risk areas in software, and drive resolution.
• Provide timely and meaningful test result updates to management.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• 4 to 6 years of software testing experience.
• A strong QA background in manual/functional testing.
• Good knowledge of SQL/Oracle queries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and people management skills.
• Strong sense of self-motivation, organization, and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Exposure to Security & Performance testing.
