Engineer, Sales, VC&A

Overview

Engineer, Sales (VC&A) responsible for implementing and achieving OR/NS sales budgets for assigned industries in the South Region for Flow business line products.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement actions aligned to strategic plans and sales objectives.
• Provide sales forecasting for the assigned customer base and set performance goals.
• Expand into new business areas and build the customer base.
• Maintain customer relationships to support top customer satisfaction.
• Market and sell products and services according to agreed plans with management.
• Report business development and activities to Indian/Global management as instructed.
• Monitor competition activities and devise strategies to stay ahead.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Control & Instrumentation preferred).
• Minimum 3–7 years sales experience in the Automation Industry.
• Experience selling Industrial Valves & Instrumentation products.
• Market and customer exposure to Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Refining & Petrochemical, and EPC contractors.
• Proficient use of spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and word processing; understand database use.
• Experience handling business with big/corporate customers.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
