Overview

Engineer/Senior Engineer - Layout to analyze mechanical requirements and design customer-specific elevator-related solutions, producing engineering drawings and outputs.

What you'll do

• Analyze technical requirements and identify possible solutions.
• Select products/solutions that meet customer needs.
• Clarify requirements with stakeholders when requirements are unclear.
• Design solutions/components for customer-specific requirements.
• Create drawings and engineering structures for the solution.
• Consider safety, codes/standards, installability, maintainability, manufacturability, and sustainability.
• Report progress and communicate deviations from customer specifications.

What you'll need

• Strong Mechanical Engineering background.
• Proficiency in Mechanical 2D AutoCAD.
• Strong communication skills.
• 4–6 years of experience.
• Basic understanding of cost levels of different components and solutions.
• Experience preferably in the elevator industry background.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of any European language.
