Overview

Engineer- Structural Dynamics evaluates how Eaton products perform under structural dynamics loads and helps simulation-driven development and reliability improvements.

What you'll do

• Evaluate structural dynamic performance of Eaton product components and systems.
• Perform vibration, seismic, shock, impact, and harmonic simulations for Eaton products.
• Develop and validate structural dynamics analysis models based on design intent.
• Develop simulation modeling methodologies in the Structural domain and deploy them in products.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define structural dynamics analysis requirements.
• Interpret, summarize, and communicate FEA analysis results with technical recommendations.
• Develop test plans to verify FEA models and validate analysis approaches using test outcomes.

What you'll need

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Applied Mechanics, or Ocean Engineering with Design/Structures specialization.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Thorough knowledge of Structural Mechanics, Structural Dynamics, and FEA fundamentals.
• Ability to perform hand calculations, interpret results, and correlate test data with simulation.
• Good communication skills.
• Effective collaboration and problem-solving ability.
