Engineer - Target India - Frontend

Overview

Engineer (Frontend) serving as a technical specialist to deliver engineering that powers the product, focusing on robust and scalable software components.

What you'll do

• Develop technical architecture and design to deliver scalable software components.
• Provide input on evaluation of new technologies and contribute to service design and lifecycle management.
• Contribute to research and proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies.
• Assist with code review and design review; write, organize, and maintain code based on designs.
• Deliver high-performance, scalable, repeatable, and secure software deliverables with guidance.
• Participate in construction, automation, debugging, and implementation activities; ensure best practices are met.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning/activities, integration and regression testing, and automate test scripts.

What you'll need

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of software development experience.
• Familiarity with current and emerging technologies within the scope of responsibility.
• Proficiency in at least one computer language.
• Understanding of distributed programming applied to the domain.
• Knowledge of data structures in the chosen programming language and how to apply them.
• Demonstrated domain-specific knowledge and ability to stay current via training and self-directed education.
