Engineer - Testing

Overview

Engineer - Testing responsible for planning and executing electrical/software testing strategies, test programs, and validation activities. You will also review test coverage and support integration of test equipment and processes into production.

What you'll do

• Analyze customer requirements, legal regulations, and internal specifications to develop testing strategies.
• Develop EOLT specifications for new hardware and software equipment.
• Design and develop complex test programs, processes, and systems to measure product functionality and integrity.
• Analyze test cases and failures, propose scenarios, and recommend actions based on results.
• Check product software and test methodology/coverage during DFT design review with R&D interaction.
• Work with the Software Validation Team to ensure complete test coverage of requirements.
• Perform validation, capabilities, test coverage, and stability performance of testers; monitor TLR and plan defect reduction actions.

What you'll need

• Experience in developing testing strategies based on customer, legal, and internal specifications.
• Ability to develop and review functional test programs and test methodology/coverage.
• Skills to analyze test cases and failures and propose corrective actions.
• Knowledge to design electronic test plans from customer, legal, and internal specifications.
• Ability to define testing equipment and tester hardware specifications for automated test rack systems.
• Experience in validating tester capabilities, test coverage, and stability performance.
