Engineer- Wet Utilities (Infrastructure)

Overview

Engineer for Wet Utilities (Infrastructure) supporting delivery of infrastructure projects through technical design, modeling, and quality reviews.

What you'll do

• Assist project leaders to deliver successful infrastructure outcomes.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, and documentation.
• Conduct reports, calculations, and design documentation.
• Perform technical and quality reviews to identify and address potential issues.
• Design and assess surface water drainage systems for stormwater management and compliance.
• Run hydrological and hydraulic modeling to support drainage design decisions.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant Wet Utilities experience.
• Experience in Wet Utilities design including potable water, sewer, storm, irrigation, district cooling, and firefighting.
• Working knowledge of HEC HMS, HEC RAS, EPANET, WaterCAD, InfoWorks, SewerCAD, StormCAD, or SWMM.
• Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Experience with ArcGIS, MicroStation, MicroDrainage, or HAMMER.
• Experience preparing design using Civil 3D for a BIM environment.
• Knowledge of clash resolution in Navisworks, Bentley Navigator, or Autodesk Civil 3D.
