Civils - Lead Drainage Engineer

Overview

Lead and oversee planning, design, and delivery of land development and municipal civil infrastructure projects from concept through construction and post-construction acceptance.

What you'll do

• Lead planning, design, and delivery for land development and municipal servicing projects.
• Provide technical authority across stormwater management, sanitary and water servicing, grading and drainage, roadway design, and utility coordination.
• Manage client relationships as the primary point of contact for developers, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
• Support approvals by preparing and reviewing technical reports, drawings, and submissions for relevant developments and regulatory approvals.
• Lead construction-phase activities including shop drawing reviews, RFI responses, progress certifications, field inspections, and issue resolution.
• Assist project financials including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and contract administration.

What you'll need

• Completion of a university degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of design experience on land development projects.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil3D.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of modelling software including PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, EPANET, or Mike+.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
