Engineering Intern 1

Overview

Engineering Intern role within the Customer Support Business Group (CSBG) of Lam's LIGHT organization in Bangalore, focused on electrical design and development for semiconductor processing equipment.

What you'll do

• Design and develop electrical/electronic sub-systems for highly sensitive semiconductor processing equipment.
• Analyze designs through simulations and hand calculations.
• Validate designs by building prototypes and performing testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for review, approval, and release.
• Participate actively in idea generation forums and contribute to innovative solutions.
• Understand Lam products, business processes and standards.
• Deliver against corporate metrics and business objectives while providing timely solutions to global customers.
• Collaborate with global product and field support teams to address issues.

What you'll need

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 65% aggregate.
• Graduating in 2027 without any backlogs.
• Hands-on projects that include prototyping and assembly.
• Understanding of electrical symbols and development of schematics using any CAD package.
• Use of electrical circuit and simulation software.

Details

• Location: Bangalore.
• Will work closely with engineering and cross-functional teams across global regions, including US and India.
• Hybrid work model: On-site Flex (3+ days per week on-site, remainder remote) or Virtual Flex (1-2 days per week on-site, remainder remote), depending on the role category.
