Engineering Manager

Overview

Lead a software engineering team and drive technical strategy for a workload automation platform. The role covers people leadership, Java/Spring Boot architecture, platform delivery, and AI/ML application.

What you'll do

• Manage, coach, and develop software engineers.
• Conduct performance reviews and support career development.
• Provide technical guidance and participate in design reviews.
• Define technical roadmaps for Java/Spring Boot microservices.
• Oversee sprint planning, execution, and delivery timelines.
• Research and apply AI/ML to managed file transfer and workload automation capabilities.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of direct people management experience leading engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, REST API, OOP, design patterns, and architecture skills.
• Experience with distributed SaaS systems, microservices, APIs, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Expertise with DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Terraform.
• Experience with EKS/Kubernetes and enterprise file transfer protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, and AS2.

Nice to have

• AWS cloud platform expertise.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise application integration, preferably SAP.
