Overview

Engineering Manager for an AI-native email app, leading engineering across frontend, backend, and full stack to build and scale products used by millions.

What you'll do

• Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack development.
• Own engineering delivery for major product areas to ship quickly with reliability and quality.
• Partner with product, design, mobile, backend, and AI teams to convert ambiguous needs into execution.
• Drive technical architecture and engineering decisions across APIs, databases, integrations, infrastructure, and customer systems.
• Set standards for code quality, system design, testing, observability, security, and production reliability.
• Own production outcomes by monitoring systems, resolving incidents, and preventing repeat issues.

What you'll need

• Strong software engineering background with experience building and shipping production systems.
• Experience leading/managing software engineers and owning engineering delivery.
• Technical depth across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, distributed systems, and/or cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to review designs, challenge decisions, and debug complex production issues.
• People leadership skills including coaching and performance management.
• Strong ownership and ability to work fast with ambiguity and clear priorities.
