Overview
Engineering Manager responsible for leading a high-performing team to build and scale an AI-native email app used by millions of users.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack development.
- Own engineering delivery for major product areas with a focus on speed, reliability, and technical quality.
- Collaborate with product, design, mobile, backend, and AI teams to turn ambiguous problems into technical execution.
- Drive architecture and engineering decisions across APIs, databases, integrations, infrastructure, and customer-facing systems.
- Set standards for code quality, system design, testing, observability, security, and production reliability.
- Own production outcomes by monitoring systems, resolving incidents, and preventing repeat issues.
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with experience building and shipping production systems.
- Experience leading/managing software engineers and owning engineering delivery.
- Strong technical depth across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
- Track record taking products/systems from idea through development, launch, and production.
- Ability to review technical designs, challenge decisions, and debug complex production issues.
- People leadership skills for coaching, performance management, and building high-performing teams.
