Overview
Engineering Manager to lead a team building and scaling AI payments app products used by millions of users.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack development.
- Own engineering delivery for major product areas, ensuring fast shipping with reliability and quality.
- Partner with product, design, mobile, backend, and AI teams to turn ambiguous problems into execution.
- Drive technical architecture and engineering decisions across APIs, databases, integrations, infrastructure, and customer systems.
- Set engineering standards for code quality, system design, testing, observability, security, and production reliability.
- Monitor production outcomes, resolve incidents, find root causes, and prevent repeat issues.
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with experience building and shipping production systems.
- Experience leading/managing software engineers and owning engineering delivery.
- Technical depth across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to make architecture decisions and trade-offs balancing speed, scalability, and maintainability.
- Track record taking products/systems from idea to launch and production.
- Comfort reviewing designs, challenging decisions, and debugging complex production issues.
- People leadership skills to coach engineers and build high-performing teams.
