Overview
Engineering Manager role leading a high-performing engineering team to build and scale products used by millions of users across the region.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack development.
- Own engineering delivery for major product areas, ensuring fast shipping with reliability and technical quality.
- Partner with product, design, mobile, backend, and AI teams to translate ambiguous problems into technical execution.
- Drive technical architecture decisions across APIs, databases, integrations, infrastructure, and customer-facing systems.
- Set standards for code quality, system design, testing, observability, security, and production reliability.
- Monitor production outcomes, resolve incidents, identify root causes, and ensure issues do not repeat.
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation for scale and faster delivery.
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with experience building and shipping production systems.
- Experience leading/managing software engineers and owning delivery.
- Technical depth across backend, frontend, APIs, databases, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to make architecture and trade-off decisions balancing speed, scalability, and maintainability.
- Track record taking products/systems from idea through development, launch, and production.
- Comfort reviewing designs, challenging decisions, and debugging complex production issues.
- Strong people leadership with coaching, performance management, and team-building.
